Sinularia brassica

Sinularia brassica is a soft coral in the family Alcyoniidae that forms broad, folded lobes resembling overlapping cabbage leaves. Its flexible, leathery tissue commonly displays brown, beige, cream, or greenish coloration, while the colony’s layered structure creates a natural sense of depth and movement as it sways in the current. Sinularia brassica relies largely on photosynthesis performed by symbiotic algae within its tissues, so maintaining stable water chemistry, moderate lighting, gentle to moderate water movement, and sufficient distance from neighboring corals is essential for supporting healthy expansion and long-term growth.
