Due to the lack of black pigment (melanin) from albinism, its body is a white to cream color, and its eyes appear red. Its basic nature and ecology are the same as the normal variety, but its shining white body further enhances its mystical, primitive appearance. It is extremely popular as a “dinosaur fish” for beginners due to its hardiness and ease of care.
