根を持たないため、テグスやリシアネットでしっかり固定する必要がある。成長して厚みが出ると、下層部が光不足で枯れて浮き上がってしまうため、定期的なトリミングが不可欠。As it has no roots, it must be securely fastened with fishing line or a riccia net. As it grows thicker, the lower layers can die from lack of light, causing the entire mat to float up. Regular trimming is essential to prevent this.
