It was created by selecting individuals from the original Red Cherry Shrimp that exhibited particularly strong and solid red coloration. As its name suggests, its vibrant, solid red body is exceptionally beautiful and stands out wonderfully in a planted aquascape. It is immensely popular as a beginner’s shrimp due to its hardiness and ease of breeding.

Copper ions are especially fatal. Hiding places are essential as they are vulnerable immediately after molting.
