強光量（60cm水槽で20W蛍光灯3灯以上、または高光量タイプのLED）。光量が不足すると葉が間延びし、上に伸びやすくなる。High light (equivalent to three or more 20W fluorescent tubes for a 60cm tank, or a high-output LED). Insufficient light causes the leaves to etiolate and grow taller.
CO2添加 / CO2 Injection
必須。CO2を添加しないと成長が著しく遅れ、絨毯化は難しい。Essential. Without CO2 injection, growth is significantly slowed, and creating a carpet is difficult.
水質 / Water Quality
弱酸性〜中性（pH 6.0〜7.5）。硬度はあまり問わない。Slightly acidic to neutral (pH 6.0-7.5). It is not demanding regarding water hardness.
底床 / Substrate
ソイルが最適。ランナーを展開しやすく、根張りが良くなる。Soil is optimal. It allows runners to spread easily and promotes good root development.
